We do not know whether you have bought the game, as there are versions with some missing files. Just reinstall.

Or install to a different directory, and use the files from there.

This may break a few W:A-related utilities, but you can fix that by setting W:A's PATH registry setting (http://wiki.thecybershadow.net/Game_configuration) back to the corrent path.

Alternatively, you can just use madewokherd's automatic W:A installer (http://www.nanacide.com/wahelp/installguide-autoinstaller.php) to install W:A without messing with the registry.

wormies14 made a thread about hosting three weeks or so ago. I think it's safe to say that he had a working front end at the time.

He's asking for some graphics, not the entire game.

Does it make a difference?

http://www.nanacide.com/images/Emoticons/sherlock.gif Well it does, because if he's just asking for some front-end graphics, then that means he probably has the rest of the game. Considering his post history, one would logically conclude that his game had the right graphics at some point in the past and is now lacking them, which suggests that he lost those graphics and needs them back, rather than using them to piece together the complete game from scratch.

http://www.nanacide.com/images/Emoticons/sherlock.gif If he aquired an illegal copy to begin with, with what one would logically conclude from his post history the right graphics, then it would seem plausible to suggest that he knows how to aquire the same copy again, and would not hesistate to go through the effort of doing so, so our suspicion and refusal to provide him with the requested graphics solves nothing, and is probably just annoying a legitimate owner.

http://www.nanacide.com/images/Emoticons/cop.gif By the way, uploading front-end graphics of a game to the internet would count as fair use under copyright law. Team17 could complain, but they wouldn't.

http://www.nanacide.com/images/Emoticons/sherlock.gif But why didn't he ask "How can I back-up my custom files and settings, because I want to reinstall due to missing files?" or "Where on the CD can I find the files, because mine are missing?", but immediately asks for the files themselves? Just sounds a bit odd.

Would it? Are you sure? I really don't think it would.

If they were used as part of a review of that game or a system running it then that would be fine, but I don't think you're allowed to just randomly publish bits of copyrighted work. Otherwise What's to stop you uploading entire games in little chunks like that if you had enough people doing it.

In any case, if Team17 complained they could just remove the link were they published here. (If it was done by email that wouldn't work, of course, but they would still be within their rights to ban all users involved.)

I don't know why anyone would refuse to pay a paltry £4.99 for Worms Armageddon anyway! (plus free postage too from play.com)
