View Full Version : A nice looking flag?
Hello. I saw "Worst shot ever 2012" and saw FFie's team "Snivellus" there. It had such a great flag, it was a picture of Snape. On this 20x17 BIT image, it looked so detailed and good.
I've done a lot of own flags by editing them and then increase the size of them, but how do I make them extremely detailed?
Also Mablak's flag is detailed and doesn't look blurry and not detailed like mine do.
Watch Worst shot ever 2012, and pause at 09:42. All the 3 flags in the blue team are extemely nice. How do I get them like that?
Anyone with the knowledge? :)
It's simply the video encoding that makes it look nicer than it actually is. Here is a comparison of the original 20x17 images and a screenshot from the video:

Well that was a real difference. So the images aren't that realistic ingame?
Auto's video editing skills improve on reality, you heard it here first! Here's the replay of that game so you can see for yourself:

Saw your PM on WormNet just now by the way, Cerium. Was it about this flag issue?
I enlarged the original flags (left) so that the comparison was clearer. Here are the same two images at the resolution you would see them in a worms game; this time I have only resized the image from the video (right):

I will watch the replay and see it for myself, hehe! Yes, I was going to ask you if you had any tips. ;)
@ GreeN:
I still think that the flags are very well done by FFie! Don't you think so?
Yes they do look good, but I would simply suggest that it relies on the picture you choose, rather than what you do with it.
