Hello Team 17 Staff,

I really liked the german sound from the old games, so I thought myself there must be a way to get the old sound into Worms Revolution. I got myself Worms 2, where every "Worm Sound" was a seperate .wav file.
I converted them into mp3 files with a bitrate of 192 kBits/s. After I managed to unpack the Spc_Classic.fsb from the Game Directionary I replaced every mp3 file (with the ones form the old game) and packed them with the FMOD Soundbank Generator with a bitrate of 160 kBits/s (I noticed the mp3s I extracted from spc_classic.fsb had that bitrate). So the new Spc_Classic.fsb is a little bit smaller than the original one. The Point is, it doesent work, and i dont know why. I dont have much experiance with modding. Maybe you can tell me how to mod the old sounds into the game, please? :)

Sorry for my bad english, i hope you understood everything :)

thx

I actually think nobody has tried this, and I'm curious to see whether or not it could be made possible.

It's not that I don't like the new voices... well... I miss some of the ol' Armageddon ones so badly!

i hope you can get it to work or find a way to do it, I miss having the good old Terminator and Duke Nukem voices, used to crack me up the custom ones :D

Did you email the support team about this?

thats because FMOD doesn't compile the .fsb files in the correct file structure inside the Spc_fsb files.. the only way to do that is through fsbext program, there are commands in there that will enable you to keep the original file structure of the sound files...
