Happy 2013 all. I've made a puzzle game that I'd like to share with you. It's inspired by the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who, and by the games Theseus and the Minotaur and Mummy Maze. Instructions are included in the exe, and the objective is to get to an escape tile without getting caught by any angels, which can move twice for every move you make.
Here's the download link (http://www.mediafire.com/?9i6bhsrhr83z38p)
Enjoy Creeping Angels :)
Nice, I've played games like it but none that were created after 95-97 :P
I had to skip the first level because I didn't figure out the stare mechanic, even though I did try looking at the enemy a couple of times, but I must have turned away as I headed towards the exit. I think the next couple of levels would be a better introduction.
I like the classic levels the most, were you have to use walls to trick enemies so you can pass. And many levels were really just the same thing; run straight towards the goal and win.
Oh and I had to turn the sound off after dying a couple of times, really annoying effect you chose..
Overall rating: :):):):(:(

Thanks for the candid feedback Xinos. The earlier levels are "training levels" and it's only when you get into double figures that they become challenging. Did you get the distinction between blinking and staring? (Stare = skip turn.)
Off the top of my head, I think there are aspects of classic Minotaur-style wall manipulation, but most Minotaur and Mummy-Maze levels wouldn't work in Creeping Angels because of the quantum locking.
And if you don't want to hear the dying WAV too often, you could try not dying
PS. I've had a look at your artwork, Xinos. It's good, and that "It Lives under the bed!" creature could easily be incorporated into one of the latest FPS's!
