So 2 friends and I just bought this game because we absolutely love playing the original Worms online. Loved the new graphics, loved the new weapons, loved the new features... But then we ran into something we absolutely DID NOT love.
Apparently, and Team 17 is aware of this, you have no choice of the number of rounds to win when creating a custom online game. You are limited to 1 and only 1. Even though it gives you an option of 1,3 or 5.. it defaults you back to 1.
I have seen a couple threads where this is addressed but Team 17 seems to brush it off as not all that important or states that it is "by design."
To me... it is very important as this is the only reason I handed $14.99 over to your company. And if it is "by design"? Well, I fear your company is not all that in touch with your customers' wants. Quite frankly I read that response as "we already have your money, you can't have it back so screw you. We'd rather not deal with it." Basically, it is not AT ALL by design, but just so happened to turn out that way, and you're not concerned with fixing it.
Since this issue was reported years ago and you have not addressed it in any way, shape or form and as this "bug" completely eliminates the reason we bought it in the first place I quite frankly want my $15 back. Will I get it? Absolutely not. So in lieu of my $15, I will be finding every forum and medium I can to negatively affect not only this game, but your company as a whole. Harsh? Not when you realize that the 3 of us just gave you $45 and played 1... yes ONE match and do not plan on playing any more.
To summarize... I loved your games and your company... And it took me literally 5 minutes to completely reverse that and I am not one to "quietly go away."
