is Worms 2 for xbox live aracde the one to get?

hi!

i recently got an xbox 360 a few months ago

i'd like to get one of the worms games

the Worms series has been one of my favorite series while growing up

unfortunately due to Intel, i cannot play Worms World Party on my laptop... occasionally i get to play it on my old family PC but i don't go on that as much and rarely can i get into a game

so i've been thinking about getting one of the worms games to play on Xbox

is Worms 2 the best for that classic style Worms? i mostly did things like shoppa, etc. can those games still be played on this?

i look forward to playing some Worms again soon!

Try to pick up a copy of Worms Armageddon for PC! The recent beta updates allow it to work perfectly with newer systems. You won't have any trouble whatsoever trying to find shopper games there ;)

That's because this is the only mode people actually play.

Seriously though, get W:A if you are up for Shopper, none of the console versions allow these kinds of special schemes.

how do i know it will indeed work on my laptop? i'd hate to buy it and not be able to run it.

It is the only 2nd generation worms game (Worms 2, Worms Armageddon, Worms World Party) that is still being maintained. The latest beta update was released just over 1 year ago. I currently play the game on Windows 7 x64 and it runs perfectly!

Noone can guarantee that it will work perfectly for you, but there is a good chance you will have no problems at all. There is also this helpful forum (http://forum.team17.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=47) where you can find assistance if you do run accross any problems.

poloko its probably the most perfect game in the world ever.....dont even bother with the first one.........it just deserves better only 4 players maximum in an online game which is truly amazing when it happens......homour, strategy, beautiful controls, amazing action, graphics the lot but they cant even make it run online in however many years its been out.......makes me embarrassed to be english (although im not from yorkshire) i am proud to say wetrix was made near me that probably beats worms to most perfect game in the world due to worms online errors.....GIMME WETRIX ON XBLA ZED TWO!!!!!! ooops they went bump :o
