View Full Version : Hell grew trees
Otherwise, I don't know where those leaves come from. (http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/649876689753728892/BF7FDC14CBA04B467C80DE927FF91A5C06812DE9/)

Who stole all the gold coins falling down in Pirate theme?
Oh and all the nicely themed girders fitting each design from W2.

No, see, it's the hell theme, not a custom map. This is only happening when using WormKit.

W:A has the coins if you don't use WormKit
I also want those girders back :(
Got a replay? I don't get leaves when using WormKit

Which modules do you have installed? Tried removing them and seeing which is causing it?
WormKit itself only serves to load dll files named "wk*.dll". It doesn't do anything else. It couldn't possibly be the cause of any changes. This is why Plutonic's post above is most relevant.
RubberWorm and Project X are the only ones I have. Anything wrong with those?

Project X used to have this issue and I don't even know if it still has it, I don't even pay attention anymore.

Because the background (when displayed properly) is awesome and should always be on. Also, I find it easier to play with it on (maybe it's just my eyes).

Because W:A is the most boring looking 2D game I know and the "animated" backgrounds spice it up at least a bit.

Really? I still love the worm animations after 14 years. They are looking where stuff is happening and it fits every time what they're doing.
Oh sorry, I didn't mean it that way. I sure love the animations of the worms. I was purely referring to the dull backgrounds. Also I'm playing most of the other games of the series as well and they just look so much better, even (or especially) the DS versions feature some decent background artwork... W:A simply isn't what I call beautiful regarding graphics.

I never understood why the stars are falling behind the background scenery...
Because they messed up the 3D illusion there.
It would be nice if an update was made that made the backgrounds not repeat themselves so frequently :/

Since I've vectorized some I could render them bigger and use a PX script to do that (however, the width is limited to a very low amount though :/)

yep, and you can also animate them as well:D just will require a bit more disk space

Sure would be an upgrade, however these backgrounds look pretty static, too. Not perfect, but definitely better :)

NO, go play some other game if you want animated backgrounds. W:R has already demonstrated how annoying animated backgrounds are.

I just said that it's possible, I didn't say that it's fitting good or bad:confused:
People may have different points of view and decide what's better for them:cool:

it would go along nicely with multi layer maps.

I used to have the background on and love it.....but a lot of custom maps have "black areas" that look ugly with bg on...and "Flying pixels" are easier to detect with bg off.

Yeah, the "Tools" background is still bugged
