To start, this is not another "lolportforwarding" thread. I don't even have a router. I have a modem with one port that's directly hooked up to my PC and I've never had to port forward for any game or service before.

Soo, uhm. I used to host games of Armageddon over an IP connection for my friends. It worked fine without setting anything up.

At some point, the game just randomly stopped working. Nobody else can join. I can start a game, but people who attempt to join just time out. I don't believe it's my firewall, it's cruddy old Windows Firewall and I've manually added several rules for the game. I also have the latest beta patch.

I'm running a Windows 7 computer with a single-core processor, I can list my full specs if needed.

I can host Worms Reloaded, so I know it's not a universal problem.

Since it's not your firewall (did you try to turn it fully off and then test again?)... I can only guess. Did you try another port? I used port 80 with my modem back then (lol). Really random tip. But you should try it at least.

Try WormNAT2 (http://worms2d.info/WormNAT2)

Start reading here, I guess: http://worms2d.info/Hosting_Guide#Software_firewalls

Certainly you should try removing all the exception rules related to the game in Windows Firewall and setting a single one anew.

Ask your ISP. If something changed without you changing anything, it's their fault.

Since it hasn't been suggested yet: perhaps your IP changed?

If that has caused the problem, I let many pancakes be shipped to Cybers home.

Looked that up already as well, it was the same.

I deleted all the rules for the game in Windows Firewall, like that other person suggested, and made a single rule to replace them. Turns out it fixed the problem, although I'm not sure what caused it.

Thanks for the help, everyone. Sorry for being stupid.
