no 1vs1 ranked matches?

the option to have 4 player ranked matches is cool, i guess, but i really hate that i can't limit it to 1vs1. every ranked match i played yesterday consisted of at least 2 friends teaming up on me after they saw that i seemed to know what i was doing. even strangers will gang up against a perceived threat. it just seems that the leaderboards won't be representative of someone's actual skill as long as we're forced to include 4 teams in every ranked game

You can have ranked matches with less than 4 players, you just have to hope the game starts (timer runs out) before more players join. :p

i know its possible but seems like something we should be able to limit it to for a more competetive game... not just blindly hope for
