Problem with worms special edition mac

Hi guys!

I've been searching all over google, youtube and worms forums, but couldn't find any answers to my problem.

I downloaded the WORMS SPECIAL EDITION for MAC from the Mac App Sotre a while ago. Played every Level up to Mission 30 and now that i reached Mission 30 I'm stuck.

I've watched a lot of videos and read a lot of walkthroughs, but they all say the same, that the left tool box of this level is a pneumatic drill and the right tool box a ninja rope. Now, if I had those I'd be happy!

BUT!!!!! in my case the left tool box is a parachute and the right toolbox a girder...
now how the f*** do you beat this level with a parachute and a girder since the goal of the game is to go to the middle of the landscape from the bottom hole.

I found this recent post though on a website saying that after an update mission 30 is unbeatable. (link here: post at the very bottom

PLEASE I WOULD APPRECIATE SOME HELP AND/OR GUIDANCE ON HOW TO BEAT THIS???

Well I can't view your attachments, but I believe you.

Now in Worms Reloaded and in Worms 2: Armageddon you can beat that mission using only the Ninja Rope.

Anyway if you want to make youself sure to not hurt your worm, you should use the Pneumatic Drill to hide youself in the ground.

Your issue it's very strange and it IS surely a bug... uhm how can I help you?

Try to save your datas, delete the game... install it again: I hope this will work.

If won't, you should wait until Monday and one of the Team17 team (nice word joke, isn't it?) will answer you.

I know: I didn't help you very much, but don't worry I think everything will be fixed soon.

This is indeed strange. Maybe reinstalling works as matteo suggested, but there's also a chance that Team17 have broken this unintentionally.

I'm having the same issue. This mission isn't beatable with those crates. :/

Sorry, only just seen this post. :( We will look into this and get it fixed asap, no idea what has happened there but should be easy to fix.

I'm having the exact same problem. I get a girder and parachute instead of the other items as show in every walk through...

SAME HERE... so frustrating... i am getting those tools as well. parachute and grider... there is no way i can defeat that...

Please fix.... so i can beat this game..
