Is there WINE for Windows 7 x64 and can it run W:A?
Got tired of virtual computers, especially since the latest versions of VMware and VirtualBox seem to crap themselves even more than the previous versions.
Now, regardless of the resources you dedicate to them (6 Core i7 logical cores out of 8, 4GB of RAM out of 12) they still don't perform as the host system. They deliver laggy output and present numerous issues.
VMware's still decent for schemes that do not involve fast roping, but I'm willing to try something new.
I've heard the Linux users are using WINE to play W:A. I understand it doesn't offer support for Wormkit (or at least I think it doesn't), but I'd be interested to see how it performs on Windows.
So, does anyone know, is there WINE for Windows 7 x64?
And if there is, I'd appreciate a quick guide on how to set it up.
