If you do, make sure to ask him about the patch for Worms Diector's Cut that he was hinting on to S2K a few years ago.
If you get bored during the day the Tate Modern's always good for a laugh.

Tate Modern's a massive art gallery with random "things" in them (some really push the definition of "art"). It's partly in an old power station (I think) on the south bank of the river Thames, and as it's free to go around, it's well worth a look: http://www.tate.org.uk/modern/
Just opposite St Paul's Cathedral, over the infamous "wobbly bridge" (the bridge that opened in 2000 and wobbled from side to side as people walked over it, said wobbling has now unfortunately been fixed)
Nearest tube stations (be warned, Blackfriars tube station is currently closed) are: Southwark (Jubilee line), Mansion House (circle & district) or St Pauls (Central)

I live in kent but work in london sometimes. most of my knowledge extends to 'cool places to eat', unless you really want to find one of londons 90 flight center shops.
anyhow brick lane is a really cool area in east london, with some good nightlife. Never been to any of the clubs myself but it's always packed at night.
There's a bunch of 24 hour bagel shops (the best ones spell it 'beigel' a habbit i seem to have picked up). One of them claims to be the oldest beigel shop in london. don't go to that one, go to the 24 hour beigel bake next door. order a salt beef beigel. there will be more salt beef than beigel. it's like two inches thick. it is delicious.
If you go during the day, go on a sunday for the market. brick lane is also a stones throw away from three other famous markets: spitalfields, petticoat lane and colombia road flower market.

I live in London. Want to interview me? I'm very English.
Also Brick Lane is all about the curry, never mind this ba(ei)gel nonsense!
Isn't Diagon Alley a famous location in London?

You're a northerner! That's not English! That's ... northern!
(Says the west country farmer... not exactly the home counties myself ;))

(Says the west country farmer... not exactly the home counties myself ;))Hey, I've got a Nothern accent and everyone seems to say I'm the most English person they know.
Granted living in Wales for 20+ years might be the reason for that.
Also tea and cricket.

Welsh isn't a nationality, it's the sound of putting your foot in a wet wellington boot.

Oh, they've got rid of the 4ftx3ft sheet of 25mm blue perspex then?
didn't see it while i was there. i guess they replaced it with the mirror so that they could continue to ask the challenging questions and defy the establishment about what art is or should be
or some bull**** like that
