[Unsolved] Lag problems on W:A with Windows 7..

Hi there,

Well, the problem is clear: I get hard lags for 10sec very often during a game (even offline).

What I tryed:
- Change compatibility from normal to XP/Vista/etc..
- Set wa.exe to a higher priority in the task manager.
- Turn off the background.

I'm actually playing on 1920*1080 resolution and I get lags.
I tried with a lower resolution and it seems like it fixed the lag problem (but not sure, it just didn't happenned yet).
But well, a lower resolution on a 22" 16/9 screen is just horrible.
So is there please any way to fix this ?

About hardware:
- SAPPHIRE HD5850-1024 VaporX ( 11162-03-40R ).
- INTEL i3 560 3.33GHz DMI 4Mo cache socket 1156 Integrated Video.
- ASUS P7H55-M - Chipset Intel H55 Express.
- KINGSTON Hyper X Blu - 4Go (2x 2 Go) - PC12800 (1600 MHz) - KHX1600C9D3B1K2/4GX.

PS: I have no problem with 1920*1080 resolution on any other recent games.
So I guess I have enough memory for high resolution Worms. <.<

How long does the lag last?

Have you tried updating your video card driver?

If that doesn't work, try enabling "Timer workaround" in the advanced options screen.

Just few day, when I first installed Worms on this computer.

It lags even more (around 2-3 times more) when I enable it.


Is it possible it was Vram + enabling Land in VRAM who made me lag ?
Because I removed both of them, and it seems to be working well.

Ho yeah, didn't know what I thinking when I replied lol.
Well, it's like multi lag spikes for 5sec (looking like one big lag of 5sec).

I did some days ago, but I'm looking for new ones at the moment.

Yes, it's possible. "Land in VRAM" should be on by default. It would help if you found which (if any) setting affected your problem.
I understand, but I'm not skilled enough to know where it comes from.
So if you keep guiding me, it could help.

Well, didn't you say that changing some settings fixed the problem for you? If you found which setting causes the problem to appear/disappear, it will help other people with the same problem.

Well, you mentioned two settings, I was hoping you could check which of the two was it (and to confirm that it indeed depends on that setting) :)
