Alright, so I read the Help within the game, also have searched throuh the control customization, and even tried pressing all keys, yet I cannot find what key I'm supposed to press to Rotate the girder or drop a weapon while in a jetpack/rope/chute.
I was playing earlier with a USB mouse instead of the built-in trackpad, and apparently clicking the middle mouse button does the trick, however I'm trying to go keyboad only as it's much more comfortable playing that way, also my built in trackpad lacks a middle button. The key you use to switch direction of the airstrike does not work for this either. Am I missing somethin obvious here?

haven't tried to rotate a girder, but you can drop something while jetpacking by pressing enter/ your jump button
Press Enter in-game, to rotate the girder. Press Enter when using Rope or Jetpack to fire selected weapon. Select weapons quickly by using your F keys, for example if you are on a rope and wanna drop a nade on someone, press F2 then Enter.

Excellent, that works for both, thanks.
My problem was that I tried enter instinctively a while back, but I had jump mapped to a different button. :o
Also, I'm annoyed that I cannot browse through the main menu with the keyboard. -_-
Rotating girders is also enter, which is kinda strange seeing as everything else is bound to Z like changing an Airstrikes direction.
Yes, in the help section for the girder, they forgot to mention the key which rotates it.
It is mentioned in the bridge kit section though.
This has already been reported during the second beta.

How about being able to browse the menu using the keyboard? :p
