I know this will end with no answer.
But this exists so, TEAM17, if your read some fans threads.
Could this game have an Portuguese Translation in text and sound?

Your wormteam might be able to speak Portuguese, I am not sure about that.
As far as I know, Team17 told us on the forum or on facebook that the game will be in:
-English
-French
-German
-Spanish
-Italian
I am not completely sure about this, can someone confirm?
DarkevilPT, creio que não...
It is possibly translated to Portugese. For example, from what I heard from reliable authorities, it's translated to Russian.
Anyway it's got (almost) all speech banks with "real" languages they ever included (like American, Russian, Netherlands and yes, Portugese).

Yah, It would be fun if it had voices in Portuguese.

It's actually a Brazilian soundbank, for what it counts.
But other than that, I don't think there's any Portuguese translation.

Team 17 Should think about that.. the game is perfect they need to improve more quality for the other country's and languages!
Worms Armageddon had a Brazilian Portuguese translation and soundbank.
But it would be much better if Worms Reloaded had European Portuguese ones.
Although, for me, English is fine.

AFAIK, the Worms Armageddon showed a brazilian portuguese soundbank and an european portuguese translation (or a mix of both, in case of translation).
I'm brazilian, and I remember the fact I had a lot of difficulties to understand the mission briefings so I preferred to use English version instead.
For some examples: on Brazil, we say team as Equipe, not Equipa. We say Mouse, not Rato; we say screen as Tela, not Ecrã. Just to exemplify some differences between the two languages.

Ya it's totally different most foreign people doesn't know that.. It's Portuguese but it differs from Brazilian.
Anyway I'd like to buy this game with voices in my own language its a classic and it would be well placed on my steam account!

Yes, sometimes I prefer English to Brazilian Portuguese, for there are so many differences between Brazilian Portuguese and European Portuguese.
The soundbank was obviously a brazilian one, but I can't tell if it was either a Brazilian Portuguese or an European Portuguese translation. As you say, it was probably a mix of both.

Yeah it was a mix, since I'm an European Portuguese and still had some trouble with it. Damn shoddy third-party translators. :p

i am portuguese too, i just preordered WR for the sake of good ole times and this time i go online.
portuguese_PT speach is needed if portuguese_BR is on it, i think we deserve it, ive seen lots of countries making use of portuguese_BR and no portuguese_PT and lots of them think portugal speaks spanish.
