I don't know whether this problem is fixed in the new Beta or not, but I think it's pretty ridiculous.
When I was playing a network game I hosted myself, and tried the command like
/msg Somebody blahblahblah
, where the player "Somebody" doesn't exist at all, WA crashes.
I can upload my errorlog.txt if anyone wants it.
Is it me or is it really a bug?
EDIT: Forgot to mention, sending private message to myself (/msg Explorer blah) also crashes.

I guess adding a few lines of code would fix this, but using the Function (F1-8) keys to communicate will eliminate your problem.
works fine here? You can even right-click yourself to quickly message yourself if you feel what you need to tell yourself is urgent.

I said that the problem is 'in game', not in frontend.

Yes, but I was testing the private chatting, so I tried talking with myself and got the problem.

Thanks, looks like we had fixed this already. Note, though, that the problem only manifests in offline games, not online/network games. A network game with only one player (the host) is treated as an offline game.
ah okay, cool that you got to the bottom of it Cyber as I would have pointed out it works online "in-game" too.

it works online "in-game" too. What do you mean? Did you reproduce it in the front-end, or in a real (>1 player) online game?
Oh, sorry. I meant it works "fine" online as in no crashes or problems.
