You definitely need this: Installing WA on Windows (http://worms2d.info/Installing_WA_on_Windows)

It's realy not that much more difficult than that realy, following that guide to get the game installed should have it working but in some cases have the colours being correupted. Wormkit with wkColour fix should fix that issue in most cases, but worry about getting it running first.

I have already mentioned the colour problem in that guide, really.

The game somehow works on my 64bit windows 7. I just play with a batch that kills explorer.exe and it's great, the game starts. However, I encounter many crashes, the game simply just displays "the program has stopped working" error. I've searched many forums and guides of installing the game and fixing it, but nothing has worked so far ;/

Just experiment with different driver versions for your video card. Start with newest, and if they don't work, then uninstall / downgrade to older versions if possible.
Wormkit's wkColourfix does the job pretty well on any of my 32 / 64bit machines though (tested 3 so far, with Intel 945G, 945GM, Nvidia 9500gt). No compatibility modes set on the wormkit shortcut properties as well on any of the systems. Ok, sometimes need to kill explorer afterwards if the desktop background has vanished, but I can live with that (for now). Oh, and never click on the Aero popup after minimizing... Click on the taskbar icon instead to restore worms :s

Doesn't this error influence badly the whole working process of your comp?

Nope, should be fine, explorer controls your desktop icons, task bar and explorer windows but not a lot else, as long as you relaunch it afterwards it's fine. You will find thy you can use the componant while wa is minimised though, which is why wkcolorfix is better
