About every 5 to 15 seconds while playing a game (not on the menus) the game freezes for 3 seconds. I have tried changing the background to black (this didn't fix it). My system specs are below. I'm fairly certain im running Windows 7 64bit. This is on a laptop and not a desktop.

Please install WormKit (http://worms.thecybershadow.net/wormkit/) and the following WormKit module: 32227
Run the game via WormKit, reproduce the freeze and press Ctrl+Break. W:A should close, and a file named FREEZE.DMP should be created in your W:A folder. Find and post this file here.

Please install the attached WormKit module, run the game and reproduce the lock-ups. After you exit the game, compress and post here the files freeze.log and freezelog.dmp from your W:A folder.

is WKlogfreezes supposed to freeze my game before the loading radiation piechart screen happens?

The only file i got out of it was the freeze.dmp and the freeze.log. After installing that WK module my worms freezes even sooner and completely locks up instead of just a lot of little freezes during game play.

Try the TimerWorkaround_On.reg tweak.

I wasn't testing by online so its not that issue. However i found out it seems to be the background images inside the game. i have to set the background detail with insert to black or maybe a single color.

TimerWorkaround_On.reg may fix more than complete lockups in online play.
If the problem goes away when you reduce the detail level, then the problem is with the driver or video card having issues with rendering W:A backgrounds. It's a typical problem in some newer drivers / hardware.

i have the same problem, the game freezes about 3 second when i typing.
but the problem not happen when i use resolution of about: 800x600, it only happend with higher resolution. Here is my freeze file, check it out and help me fix it...
i'm using win 7 and core i3 cpu
i downloaded wormkit, it's a zip file, i extracted it in WA folder, there is a wormkit.exe file and two folder, two dll file. how to install wormkit's module?? when i run wormkit.exe, a error appear: " Warning: no wormkit module were loaded" ...

Have you tried TimerWorkaround_On.reg yet?
I have almost identical specs to cloudwolf - i3, x64, 4GB, Intel GMA HD, etc.
I have the same problem with momentary game lock-ups in offline PlayerVsPlayer and PlayerVsComputer matches (haven't tried online yet). I have WA 3.6.29.0 Beta.
I haven't installed Wormkit, but I can contribute some things that don't help the problem:
TimerWorkaround_On.reg (or TimerWorkaround_Off.reg, for that matter)
Setting process affinity to a single processor core.
Setting process priority to Above Normal (don't ask me why I tried that, I don't know :)

Can you use wkLogFreezes posted earlier in this thread to get some logs?
