Watch the vid; it's about playing high-end games on computers (from high-low specs) because it uses a a broadband video to stream the game you're playing to your computer. 'Cloud Gaming'
Like steam, this could KILL piracy.
It could would also kill roping. You can't do that with the sort of input lag that inevitably comes with these solutions.
They're hoping to overcome that with a fast enough connection :\

Are they giving away free super internet to people?
They'd need to upgrade everyone to fibre optics and give everyone ADSL 2 routers then upgrade all the servers and DSLAMs around the world. It will only cost what? half a petadollar?
Even that wouldn't be good enough, I know people who won't play games with a wireless mouse and keyboard because of the input lag.

If no one cared about money, then it wouldn't hurt at all :P but yes and I am one of said people that hate any and all lag!

I know people that won't even play with USB keyboards because of the input lag

Am I the only one who controls the worm by firing electric current straight into the input pins on the motherboard? I can't stand any input lag.
Could kill piracy? Yes, it could.
Will it kill piracy? Hardly.
Yep, the game data will be leaked eventually and then eventually cracked. Nothing stays a secret forever, 'cept maybe the first moon landing >.>"

Some other people could go up and see if the flag is there :p
I feel I have to question the thought behind this actually becoming a "new market" for worms.
For one, the game hardly requires a top-end computer (currently, in which would actually faulter the game play; see Vista/7 and various other problems). Secondly (this applies to many games I suspect), this annihilates all possibility of customisation to the game; e.g. mods/tweaks. And last but not least, the game is availible (For those with access to it) for the price of a 'downloadable' old game like this anyway.
