View Full Version : No Text or Fonts
Hi everone,
i got a problem with the ingame menu.
When i launch WWP i could not see any text in the menu. So i can't control the game settings. Sometimes i could imagine what the small pictures want me to say, but it's some kind of finding a needle in a haystack :(
This happens also when i want to chat with somebody... i type my text and can't see what i'm currently writing. When i send it away i can read it, but that's not really the way i like it.
Anyone experienced this problem?
I just couldn't find the reason or a way to fix it.
Help please!!

yea, im having it too!
when u write in chat or in the menus - u cannot see the text (remains blank / with the text that was written there before)
when u place your mouse over something in the menus, it should write an explanation text at the bottom of the screen, but nothing..
also, when i push the map button to change a map, it does change the map, but the preview of the map remains the same, meaning i can't know which map i chose...
did anybody have the same problem and knows how to fix it??
thnx for the helpers! :D
as for the maps preview, the only way I found to 'solve this' is left clicking on the map box, and then right clicking on it to see the map full screen. that's the only way for us to see what map we're choosing
Hey rozenman, that's exactly the same problem.
Hmm, i thought maybe it's because i created my own winxp installation and kicked some stupid standard tools out.
Don't know why, but i got a feeling maybe it's the missing keyboard layout. There's only one layout left. I left the german keyboard layout in it. Whatever... if i get the time to reinstall the others (esp. english layout) i will post the result in here.
Other languages i kicked out too. There's only german language left.
The other thing is that my custom xp got no drivers for new or old graphic cards. I integrated the needed driver for my card directly.
Last but not least there is no more xp-own-standard - AGP-Filter.
Did you created your own installation disk too maybe? I used n-Lite for this custom installation disk.

umm, actually i did..
i can't remember what exactly i removed, but i'm sure its not a full installation...
interesting idea...
