If you mean the "snow" texture of the terrain, then YES, there is snow.

He means in the frontend. On December 25th, there are little 2x2 white squares instead of stars in the frontend. There are also more of them than there usually would be of stars. It's a game feature added by CyberShadow.

However, when I go into the options screen, the "snow" in the background turns BLACK!

Sorry I did not mean to bump the thread but I finally figured out what SgtFusion has said here.

I even added a small Christmas Easter Egg, hoping that it (v3.6.28.0) would be released before Christmas.
