Windows 7 Error [Archive]

I just installed worms armeggedon on my laptop with windows 7. Whenever I try to run the game I get a black screen for a few seconds and eventually get an error saying that the program is no longer responding. I have tried using compatability settings, but to no avail. Can anyone help?

Did you install the latest Beta update?

I was under the impression that you should only download the patch if you have the european version of the game, which I do not. But I found the beta patch that you spoke of and it works fine now. Thank you very much

Whatever information you read, it was firstly regarding the 3.0 patch, and secondly outdated.
