where do i put the extracted map (earth map, not an image) of a game to use it again?

where do i put the extracted map of a game (earth map, just specific drawn shapes, not an image) i played online in order to use the map again? i extracted it from the game file, which gave me a 1K file of the file type "File," and i tried putting it in the Import folder, and then Imported it in the map screen in-game, but it was just blank, i didn't see the filename (called "MinesMoles"), and i also tried putting it in the SavedLevels folder and tried to find it with the dropdown box right under the big map in the in-game map screen and still couldn't find it

how'da do it?

The file should have had a .BIT extension (or .LEV if it was an unedited randomly-generated level). Normally, .BIT and .LEV files can be loaded from the level editor if you place them under SavedLevels.

ah, that was my problem, i simply deleted the ".BIT" part by accident when i renamed the file
