Are you sure you're terminating Explorer correctly? The taskbar should disappear.
Also, are you sure you're running the WormKit module correctly? You need to copy the DLL to your W:A folder, then run WormKit.exe.

Maybe have a little patience until the next update is released. It will solve the color issues, or you may want to try playing the game on a virtual computer running XP.

@darkfoot:
Please try not to use leet-speak when asking questions, because most people have difficulty understanding them. Use better English!
And, by the way, this method (killing explorer.exe) works with all paletted games, like Starcraft, Age of Empires, etc.

it still inverts but not as much :P just a quick back to D'Top and all looks good.
1 thing you might wanna look into.... there seems to be a small delay when roping... not the rope but the sound...
Turn the sound off and you won't experience the delay anymore :)

Wait for the next WHAT? :D Are you serious? There should have been a new patch in June or July I think....nothing will ever come for Armageddon or maybe next year!
You can't possibly count on any releases for pc! They sucked us all, Xbox and Playstation are the new Worms universes :( Sadly as it is....

You realise it isn't Team17 who are releasing updates, but two volunteers working on it entirely on their free time who were allowed to do so when the game was still relatively new? These people have nothing to do with Team17, and you should be thankful it's being updated at all.
Anyway, I can vouch that there is a lot of activity indeed, and they are in no way slacking off. It is simply that there is so much to be done, and so many bugs to fix, and they are only two guys working in their free time.
Most games simply go to die after the first few years of existance. Worms Armageddon hasn't. Just be thankful.

Anexample would be any previous change log for a beta update.
