View Full Version : Would Forts mode be better if there was no crate drops?

Just pondering on this, as on forts a single crate can make a huge difference.

It be grate to have a "Pro Forts" mode as an extra way to play with no crate drops.

That would sort the men from the boys, so to speak.

What you think?

I think it would do better if their were even crate drops. It's like so many times that a game has so many crates spawn on one side, but not the other.

I also think that bunker busters should not be included in weapon drops, the rest is fine as is.

I'd like to see a Pro forts mode added with this setup:

No crate Drops
No Parachutes
NO Health Drops


You start on your own land and basically have to stick to your own land and just use the tools you have both been gven from the start to fight each other.


Maybe even remove airstrike & bunkerbuster (not sure - perhaps replace airstrike with less effective Napalm).

I'd leave the timers the same as normal forts for turns and retreat.

I'd change Sudden Death though, so the water rate rise is a lot slower and health reduced to only 50% instead of 1 health point and game length before sudden death on 30mins instead of 20mins (This is to discourage peeps on there last worm early on in game to wait it out for sudden death - it infuriates me, 20mins is not long enough to discourage this & the waterr rise rate and 1 point health makes it too easy for 1 worm to kill 2, 3 or even 4 at times.)

I dunno. It adds an element of random hilariousness to the game. I got two armageddons in a row today, for instance. And I used both of them in a row. :cool:

I was already owning the poor guy anyway(he had two worms left, in an easy to hit position close to the water, I had four well hidden), so I figured I'd give him the chance of killing myself. Used one, almost killed his two worms. Used the second, killed everything but one of my worms. :P
