You mean voice chat? Also, Hamachi is obsolete with regards to W:A: http://worms2d.info/Hosting_Guide

If you want to use voice chat, the absolute best voice chat program out there for gaming right now is still Ventrilo (http://www.ventrilo.com/). Click the link.

You and all your friends need to get the client, and you can also download server software. The person running the server software will need to forward the default Ventrilo port (port 3784), if their computer is connected to the internet through a router. http://portforward.com can help you with this process.

To be extra awesome, disable "Play Key Clicks" in the Ventrilo options and enable "Use Push To Talk Hotkey ( PTT Mode )", binding the key you wish to push to talk.

This is commonplace for gamers in many gaming communities like World of Warcraft, Starcraft, DOTA, etc. Wormers can enjoy this technology too. :)

Ventrilo doesn't seem to work for me in WA. No matter what I set the Push to talk hot key as it seems to be disabled in game. Thought maybe the anti-keyboard hook module in wormkit might help, but that doesn't seem to work either. It doesn't even make it so that windows keyboard combos work. I assume this might be because it was made for XP and not Windows 7 which I am currently running? If anyone has any suggestions I love to try them out.

Thanks!

jamest, it's almost certainly a Ventrilo problem. W:A doesn't do anything out of the ordinary with regards to keyboard input. I think I've heard people successfully use Ventrilo, so it might be a problem on your end.

Thanks! I thought I'd check in and see if it might be something WA was doing. So far Ventrilo works fine with every other game I have. I guess for some reason it doesn't like Worms on my computer.

I'll do a test. Just a sec.
