How to fix Worms Armageddon colour problem in Vista

Hello! This is my first post. Sorry my (bad) english, I am Finn. This is solution of problem that changes W:A colours in Vista. Solution is simple: stop explorer.exe while you play and then restart it when you stop playing.
This one solution of many, but I think this is best.

1. Open Notepad and put following code in it.@echo off
taskkill /F /IM explorer.exe
WA.exe
start explorer.exe
exit2.Save as .bat file in your Worms Armageddon directory(name does not matter).
3. Make shortcut to desktop of that file.
4. You can change shortcut icon and run type to minimized.
5. Run W:A always by this shortcut.

This has been posted here a thousand times. I wrote a WormKit module (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=38762) which suspends Explorer instead of killing it, and de-suspends when you minimize.

Hello all Worms players.

I know this already exists out there. But this one is easy to use with WA.exe and Wormkit.exe

All it does is kill explorer for you and start the desired Exe file you like. After you are finished it will start explorer again and kills this menu.

Design makes it easy to use and easy to switch between the exe files.

For me this works perfect and didn't encounter any problems with collors or crashes anymore.

All you got to do is copy the Batch file into the Worms Armageddon Root folder (same place where WA.exe is).

Then you can make a shortcut from there to the desktop (Don't place the Batch on the desktop. Then it won't find WA.exe or Wormkit.exe)

It's not a regression in 3.6.29.0, so it has nothing to do with that thread. It's already in the troubleshooting FAQ.

hey ToxRox you are my saivor, so simple for novice user to setup you colour fix and run it in a no time!!!! exelent... btw that is the only way i managed to ssetup wormkit runing with no colour bugs!!! on my windows 7 x64!! THANKS SO MUCH! AND I WOULD RECOMMEND YOUR COLOUR FIX TO ALL!! THANKS AGAIN CHEERS!!!!
