Resolution box problem

I have vista and i don't have any problems with the colors. Just leave a explorer window open. But the thing is that when i change to custom resolution. Theres the box below.

Now heres the problem. Its blank. I can click on it, but theres no dropdown menu. Same for the drop down menu on the left side.

Is there a fix for that? I patched the game to the beta patch.

Have you set any compatibility options for WA.exe or the shortcut?

no, but it just somehow resolved itself. No Idea how, just played a while and now i can change the resolution.
