help me find a new notebook pc that'll run WWP

i got a new Toshiba laptop about a year or so ago and it didn't run WWP... i tried downloading all the patches and doing all these things to fix it and make it work but nothing worked! :(

a few months ago though, my brother got a new Alienware PC... we tested it out on there and it worked fine! though occasionally the coloring would be off

both computers run Vista

i know i am not alone in having this problem with Toshiba laptops

i want to buy a notebook because they are cheap and i can take them to school with me for note taking... i want one that will run WWP and that will ultimately make or break which notebook PC i get (i also can't get soulseek to run on this laptop neither and can't figure out why, if anyone knows what that is)

Ah, just make sure the graphics aren't being taken care of by an integrated Intel graphics chip. Here's an exhaustive list of 'em [but don't confuse this with Intel's motherboards, there's nothing wrong with those]:

I'm relatively certain that none of ATI's or Nvidia's mobile graphics cards and their drivers do as poorly at WWP as Intel's do, but it is also worth pointing out that if you were to instead switch to playing Worms Armageddon, a better and more complete game in every objective respect, you wouldn't have this problem anymore in the first place and could keep your current hardware. :eek:
