Just think that Team17 could be setting themselves up here as the guys to go to for modernised/HDifyed classics.

We've all wanted game x 'but with today's graphics', and T17, with the new Worms and upcoming Alien Breed seem to know their stuff in this regard.

...Any chance of having a word with EA and getting the option to do up some of the old Bullfrog titles? (Dungeon Keeper, Theme Park, Populous etc..).

A guy can dream right? :P

Chaos Engine. Frogster Interactive bought the rights from the Bitmap Brothers over a year ago and went nowhere with it. Seems they got enough work on their hands with their MMOs. That's certainly an option when Alien Breed has gone by.

Factor5 is also in a little bit of trouble and Turrican desperately needs a 2D-HD upgrade.

Seeing how Nintendo sells millions by releasing good old fashioned 2D Mario games, Superfrog might want to undust his cloak too. Unique Amiga platformers, such as Benefactor, are also waiting to be rediscovered.

Not everything has to be in 3D, now we have 1080p resolution, but nobody trying to make use of that 2D wise. Just the potential background fidelity is staggering. Question is if 2D animators still exist in large enough quantities.

I wish they would make a Dungeon Keeper 3, THOUSANDS, if not MILLIONS of people do. It's a really great game, and it needs reviving. I really am surprised why EA isn't doing anything with it. Instead of making new, sucky IPs, they should do sequels to good popular games.

couldn't agree more - the T17 back catalogue is one that i think would do very well - as there are none of these types of games anymore.

Alien breed (which has obviously been recognised) - but project X, assassin, superfrog etc - perfect for online distribution - i would have thought.

Not so sure about other companies games - im sure that would be a legal mindfield - but system 3 is the dev that springs to mind for me - the lant ninja series.
