I tested Worms Armageddon (+ latest beta patch) with Windows 7 and it breaks the colors.

I have tried Windows XP Compatibility, disabling Aero etc. but doesn't work still. However when I had Vista the colors worked, so?

EDIT: Yeah, there was a solution already!

It works but it is a little stupid to kill explorer before playing :P Hopefully you guys can do something for this in the next update.

A better alternative to killing Explorer is wkColorFix (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=38762).

This seems like it does the same thing as CS's wkColorFix, except that it doesn't resume explorer when minimised (which is bad), but it also disables Windows Aero. Maybe you could implement that too, CS?

Open WormKit's properties, go to the compatibility tab, and select "disable desktop composition".

The map editor crashing is to my knowledge usually caused by pallette theft. Try the following:

* Make sure all background programs are closed - including instant messengers, anti-virus programs, firewalls, etc.
* Install WormKit (in cybershadow's sig) and extract the wkColorFix (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=38762) module to the W:A folder, then run the game via wormkit.exe instead of wa.exe (EDIT: From the error log, it seems like you've already done this)
* Right-click on wormkit.exe, go to properties, click compatibility, and check disable desktop composition. Click OK, and try loading via wormkit again.

Let us know if it works!

Are your video drivers up to date?

I have also found this:
"Simply open up your screen resolution window before playing, and leave it open. Doing so will result in perfect colors ever time. The same for vista, just open up personalize. I have no idea why this works, but I've tested it many many times- you just open the window- nothing else."

I tested it and, I don't understand why, but it works :D
