Hello.

I managed to get the front end fully working under Debian 5.0.1 and Wine 1.0.1.

When I try to start a match, the game window changes its size to the desired in-game resolution. However, the loading process stalls before about 25% of the progress wheel appears.
The replay file gets created in User/Games.

I installed WA directly from CD, updated it and copied the ddraw hack for 1.0.1 (http://glados.iwanek.co.uk/dokuwiki/projects/wine-hacks/ddraw).
I cannot run the installer in Lookias's "Play Worms Armageddon on Linux" for some reason, but when I try to run the already installed game using that program, the effect remains the same.

What should be wrong?

Is your CD in good condition? The crash happened in the code that loads files from the CD.

Yeah, that was the case. My WA CD is 10 years old already. :)
The game is running flawlessly with an ISO image mounted as a virtual CD.

Thanks for help.
