Is the PSN version a totally different game to the 360?

I was round at my friends house at the weekend and we were playing on Worms on his PS3.

I thought this is a great game that I've not played in ages, when I got home I wondered if it was only on PS3 or was also on Xbox 360.

I searched and was really glad to see it on 360, so I downloaded the free trial, I was going to buy it but I thought there is a lot of differences between this version and the one on the PS3.

Is the differences just because I haven't bought it or is it a totally different? And if so is there any plans to release a version similar to the PSN version on the 360?

Worms PSN has four weapons that aren't in Worms XBLA (Super Sheep, Holy Hand Grenade, Baseball Bat, Donkey) . It also has more soundbanks, different sound effects, more landscape types and more music. Worms XBLA has some glitches that have been fixed in Worms PSN.

The 20 deathmatch challenges on the PSN version use different maps but I don't think they are better or worse than the 360 challenges (maybe slightly easier).

Worms 2: Armageddon will be coming to XBOX 360 soon and will have more than 40 weapons and many new options. I'd wait for that version.
