Error after Game ?

I got an error after playing W:A in anything goes.

used "Wheat Snooper" with "WormKit" to host it on my XP SP3

wondering why this error comes at end of the game :-/

Does it also happen when you host from the game?

no.

when I host a game it just stucks often (all 5 or 6 games)
and the screen is freezing.

then I have to restart my pc when it freezed ^^

most time at the middle of the game when its my turn.

when anyone fires a weapon and I scroll over the screen with the mouse,
then it stucks and freeze.

tested it but the screen freezed in game again.

and I get no error when it freeze:-/

I think it's better if we try to figure out the cause of your freeze, instead of the snooper problem (which might be caused by the snooper itself).

Please install WormKit (http://worms.thecybershadow.net/wormkit/) and the following WormKit module: 32227

Run the game via WormKit, reproduce the freeze and press Ctrl+Break. W:A should close, and a file named FREEZE.DMP should be created in your W:A folder. Find and post this file here.

testet with wormkit.exe and wormKitmodule only.
now I don`t have any freeze.

but when I play it get black screen for 1 or 2 seconds in game now ???

The module shouldn't have any side effects like that.

Please check that it's the only WormKit module in your W:A folder, and that it's not a coincidence.

have made a backup of all and new installed w:a from disc.

have installed the newest WAPatch.exe,
WA_update-3.6.29.0_Beta_Installer.exe,
the WormKit and WormKitModule: Attachment 32227.

played some games with WormKit.exe
and now I got no more black screens or freezes.

is this blackscreen/freeze/error only when I install
a Snooper or why do I got them from ?

have no idea why this happens.

I think in "Pro Snooper" or "Wheat Snooper"
are no other WormKitModules ***confused***

Could you please describe the nature of your problem in more details?
I understood that you sporadically get a black screen during the game which lasts for 1-2 seconds?

Also, have you tried updating your video drivers? The freeze dump you posted here (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showpost.php?p=696245&postcount=14) indicates that W:A was inside a DirectDraw call (locking a video surface).

If I play a game on WormNet@AnythingGoes

while I am in the air (rope, jetpack...) and sometimes at shooting or explosion,
but most time with rope in air.
think it has to do something with the air ?!

at shoppa, I take rope and want to go to the other side of the map.
but now the screen stops/getsblack for 1-2 seconds and I fall
down most time.

Bios is also up-to-date.

At which detail level do you play?
If you play at a detail level with a smooth background gradient (the last three detail levels), does the problem go away if you play at a lower detail level (black or jagged background)?

normaly background I think,
only were you can see the wind at background and no other background.
so there is no landscape background.

with black screen only sometimes, but not as mutch like the normal.

Please try running the game (at minimum detail level) with this WormKit module. Delete the previous module. After you exit the game, compress and attach the files freeze.log and freezelog.dmp from your W:A folder. This should automatically log information about freezes and lockups longer than 150ms.

You use a physical CD and play with the in-game music enabled, right? You should try creating a CD image (http://worms2d.info/Running_WA_without_the_CD) and seeing if that helps.

If it doesn't help, please repeat the procedure but this time note down the time when the lock-up happens.

W:A remaining in the process list must be a side effect of the module. You can terminate the process.

played a game and it happend again for 1-2 sec black screen.
background turned off, only black background.

freezed now fully at 10:03 when I want to join a game

If your computer freezes completely in such a way that not even Windows hotkeys like Ctrl+Alt+Del work or pressing Num Lock doesn't toggle the keyboard LED, it can't be W:A's fault. The problem is either in hardware or a device driver.
