Nature of the problem: Every several minutes (irregularly, sometimes every 1 minute, sometimes every 10 minutes) gameplay freezes for 3-4 seconds. It is really annoying when occurs during roping. I've tried to disable all services and startup items with msconfig. I've also tried to uninstall antivirus software. I've also updated BIOS of my motherboard. Unfortunately, nothing helped. I've used Process Explorer to see what is happening during a freeze. To my surprise, CPU usage falls to 0% during freeze and I/O bytes also is 0.

Steps to recreate: don't know

I’d be grateful for any suggestions what else I can try or check.

Several questions:
1) Does it happen in any other games?
2) Does it happen in both online and offline games, or in only one of the two?
3) Have you checked any temperature sensor readings to see if anything is overheating?

1. No, but I don't play many games (only Worms Armageddon and Icy Tower ;)).
2. Both.
3. Yes. No temperature goes above 39°C.

Please install WormKit (http://worms.thecybershadow.net/wormkit/) and the following WormKit module: 32227

Run the game via WormKit, reproduce the freeze and press Ctrl+Break. W:A should close, and a file named FREEZE.DMP should be created in your W:A folder. Find and post this file here.

The game seems to freeze while it's attempting to lock a video surface. Have you tried updating your video drivers?

Have you tried updating your video drivers?

Yes. Unfortunately, I already have latest version released almost one year ago. There is no newer version of video card BIOS too.
