(Fr) WA is slow with Vista

Hello everybody,

I'm french, so excuse me for my bad english.

I want to play WA (original CD "Collection Edition"), on my Hp Pavilion NoteBook DV5 (Vista), but the game is slow during fights.
In the menus it's ok, but in game, there is like a frame skipping, and i can't play good.
I also don't see "leafs" which fly, and give the orientation of the wind, in custom color levels (and I didn't push the button to skip them).

I putted the last patch of course but it didn't solve the problem.

What can I do please ?

Proc : AMD Turion(tm) X2 Dual-Core Mobile RM-70 2.00GHz
Ram : 3,00 Go
OS : Vista 32 bits
Graphic card : ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450
Sound card: integrate

Does turning off the background (making it black) by pressing Insert a few times increase the speed?

Not seeing the background debris (leaves etc.) is normal on custom maps with more than 65 colours (see http://worms2d.info/Colour_map ).

Yes ! When I press insert, it increase the speed ! ;)

Do you know where the problem come ?

Try closing all open programs and updating your video drivers.

I've close all programs, update my video drivers, it's the same result, game is slow when I activate the background. :(

Maybe a simple compatibility problem. :eek:

Play on black background when roping is involved. Almost any configuration lags at full detail.

There is a much more reliable Wind Meter in the bottom right of the screen that you can use with a black background.
