Anti-gravity ninja rope trick?

So I love to play Worms XBLA online, and I'm really anticipating the release of Worms 2: Armageddon (hopefully out soon!), but I have a question about one of the tricks that people on Xbox Live have seemed to master and that I can't figure out

I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about, but for those who don't know, a player will shoot his ninja rope at a point directly next to him and then swing around a bit until they can ride the ninja rope upwards (ie, defying gravity with the rope). Does anyone have any advice on how I could learn how to do this? I've spent about an hour now just messing around in single player with unlimited ropes, but I just can't get it down

In Worms XLBA, it's easiest to fire at a small hill and push yourself backwards up a large hill. You won't be able to stay vertical long though since the rope feels very heavy compared to Worms Armageddon.

I'm having the same thoughts and problems with the anti gravity trick i have run into online also and would like to learn how to do this please?
