View Full Version : organizing games, and active leagues
I've noticed that usually when I sign onto Wormnet it is hard to organize a game with other players. Sometimes the Anything Goes channel will be packed, yet no one seems to write anything important and games appear without any form of communication being visible in the chat. So, this is a two-part question:
How are you all organizing games and communicating with each other?
and
What leagues are currently active?
-You simply host and wait until some random people join, hoping they won't be complete assholes.
-You simply join a game of the type you'd like to play (if you are good at reading game titles) and hope the other people in it are not complete assholes.
-You ask at AG if someone would like to play whatever you want to play and if you get any positive replies someone hosts.
-You find someone you know on AG and you start a game with him.
-You find someone you know in another social network (msn, icq, irc, etc) and you start a game with him.
You can find a list of communities, leagues and clans at worms2d.info
instant messaging clients for MSN and IRC etc. play a large role in game organization as it is easier to duscuss things with only the people you want to talk to.
Thanks, Diario and franpa. Maybe I'll download IRC. I appreciate your help.
Maybe I'll download IRC.

I just downloaded mirc and tried to find that channel, but I had no luck. Is it usually empty?
