C'mon now, where is it? I don't care if it's the same games repackaged or something new. XP is a dying OS and I want to play a 2D version of Worms on my Vista computer!
This is so possible now. You can make a downloadable version to sell on Direct2Drive (https://www.direct2drive.com/) or GOG (http://www.gog.com/). IGN is a hugely popular site and they can market it from there. GOG is increasing is popularity. Matter of fact, Good Old Games (GOG) might even port it to Vista for you! So how about it, Team17? There's still interest in the old Worms games and if you make it "widely" available online, you don't have to worry about shelf life. That's where software is going anyway. You won't physically own any software in the future, unless you put it on disc yourself or whatever storage system that'll be available.
In addition to the port, you can make extra money creating expansion packs with new weapons, costumes, game modes, official maps, new stats, updated graphics and animation. I would even be willing to buy the animations separately. Maybe even a comic version like MAD's Spy vs. Spy, except with Worms.
Worms is a fun game. Keep it alive!
