I saw this in a thread somewhere a while ago, now I cant remember how to do it. I know that Home centres the worm, but what is the way to keep the worm centred throughout the turn?
Holding down the Home key.
I'm not entirely sure if there was some kind of workaround so you don't have to hold down a key during your turn though.
Don't move the mouse while playing. I don't think there's a way to make the camera follow your worm and keep the worm centered. If it's true what lDarKl says, then get a program to simulate that behaviour (this will not cause key-locks as you don't actually press a key on your keyboard).

There's a trick involving the numeric keypad to do it:
turn off Num Lock if it is on
press and hold down 7 (Home) on the numpad
while still holding down 7, turn on Num Lock
release 7
W:A never receives the message that Home was released. Note that opening the chat resets this.
The next Beta version will have a way to lock the camera to the active worm properly, so that people without a numeric keypad won't be put at a disadvantage.

Thanks a bunch, although dunno if it'll be beneficial to my play. Had the Sellotape at hand just in case ;)
A toothpick, a match or a small coin stuck into the home key do the same trick.

While playing, can cause key-lock on some keyboards.

Well, even normal roping can cause a key lock.
One button more or less before it locks up shouldn't stop you from buying a new, good keyboard.
Although, a toothpick is an injury risk. :)
Anyway, this thing can give you a headache if you're playing at high resolutions.
It also disables the use of cursor based weapons, such as the homing missile, various airstrikes and teleport (not sure if there are others off the top of my head).
You can get cursor movement by pressing the Home key which of course disables the camera lock.
