As promised, and right on time...

The jet has just landed and is pulling into the terminal. President Ford welcomes all you suckas aboard because its next flight is going to be a bit bumpy!!!

This is version 3.0 with a MUCH larger map size (when worms fall, they fall far and with much screaming), and a new beta-dependent scheme file. Also, you might have noticed:

COMPLETELY REDRAWN FROM SCRATCH.

Master Clogz is truly a wizard of Illustrator and I hope you guys all like the new style - more cartoony is the only way I can describe it. I will say, though, that with the height of the new level, you may have to wait while napalm falls to the ocean a few times, but we have gotten used to it and think it is a perfectly fine trade-off for the always hilariously long trips to certain doom that falling worms will make.

As always, there is a rather extensive readme in the RAR file describing the concept of the level, along with the scheme files and map file itself.

A screenshot has been attached to this message but it doesn't show the true height of the level.

Happy battling and Master Clogz and I look forward to your comments.

Most excellent!
And the height is indeed promising to be great fun. :D

Edit:
Don't you mean 04/01/2009 in the readme? :)

bonz: Rock on man! No actually, we redesigned these in April, 2008 and are now just getting around to sharing with the community.

lDarKl: The next map, Global Warming, is coming next week. And there are a bunch of em in the pipeline for the next few months. We are having a lot of fun with this, so I think it will stick for a while.

And just out of curiosity, did anyone get a chance to try out Titanic D, released last week?

Yes, I enjoyed Titanic D, Titanic B, and your two new classic maps, as well as this! It's clear you put a lot of effort into your work based on the results. It's nice - many other map-makers seem to rush too much.

Thanks PixelP!

Yeah this was Clogz masterpiece and he spent a buttload of time on it. But I think the results are worth it. We have had some crazy matches on this jet. I love finding holes in the underbelly and then using my ninja rope to traverse the bottom with only seconds left in an attempt to kill one of his dudes.

Doesn't always work out good for me.

Looks great! This will be fun.

I haven't had a chance to enjoy any of your maps yet but hopefully I will soon!

Wow, you weren't kidding when you said fire takes a long time to reach bottom, lol. The best part was as fire was falling, a mine went off and launched a worm through falling fire.

Inspired by Thurbo's conversion of an MnP map (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?p=739400#post739400) to Worms United, I decided to do the same treatment with Air Force One in Worms: The Director's Cut (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyO9StnjXxs).
Thank's go out to Squirminator2k for converting the map and enlightening me with the secrets of Amiga Worming.

Thanks bonz!

Man, we are just bringing these posts back from the DEAD this week, aren't we? Better shoot 'em in the brain before they take over.
