Please feel free to beat me with the ugly stick if this is one of the more annoying questions.
I have been looking at some of the feature requests on that nice little voting system. One that REALLY stuck out in my mind was that multi-layerd PNG possibility. I continued reading on and I found a comment made by CyberShadow (wish I could remember exactly which post it was on) that alluded to the fact that there may be changes to the pallette-limited way that W:A displays colors. I think that comment implied a 4.x release possibility.
My annoying question is this: Is that actually planned (changing the color limitation system) and if so, are we looking at a pretty decent long time till that happens (that's the annoying part)?
My bread and butter of W:A is level design. I will be releasing our levels in a week or so, and you will see why I say that. To have more colors, without sacrificing the little wind particles and background gradient would be nice. But to have full color AS WELL as backgrounds and foregrounds in the PNG would be a dream come true.
