Problems with connection (W4M)

Hello everyone. When i want to host a game, well i host it and play. But when i want to connect to another i clic on it and wait. When i am on the server ready to choose the team the problem is that remains the d**n stupid clock and i can't clic, just move the mouse. After a while the game says that it was not possible to do something (i don't remember what but i will retry after a while to report the error). Then the game returns to the main screen of the online playing. I haven't any router, just Norton Internet Security 2009. I tried to set it in the way to open the needed ports for the game, but it closes the others so the game doesn't connect to GameSpy. Without any configuraton (leaving it in Automatic for who has NIS 2009) there is that connection-on-others-games problem. What to do? Thanks in advance.

I think it's the other people who need to forward their ports, hosting the game is the thing that requires the port forwarding.

This may be the right answer, but i think it's a mine problem, because other people (from what i saw) can connect to the server where i can't. Thanks for the help. If anyone has a suggestion, please help! I tried to unable NIS2009 and i still can't play! :( Please help me!!! Well, i got it solved. That was their problem you was right! Because the others connect but they get my error! Thanks, and oh, i was about to forgot, i can play on other servers, excluding the ones wich didn't forward their ports.Thanks
