Wormnet2 help

Hi. I want to play Worms World Party witonline with the Wormnet2 thing.
Firstly, I got the patch like it said to, to be able to play online. I've put all of the patch files into the directory, and allowed those that needed to be replaced, replaced (but I still held onto the old .exe). The new .exe, however, says that my CD is not in the drive, when it clearly is, and the old .exe will still run though.
So, I also tried using the old .exe to play. When I chose my connection, the only available option there was to login. No register.
Could someone please help me solve this problem/s.

Wormnet 2, is that WWP? in any case, neither W:A or WWP require registration, just enter a name you want and press OK. if no one else is using that name, then you can use it until you sign out :)

Ok, so I've just tried to login, and now I get a warning message, saying that it failed to open stream and something about a file and directory.
But thanks anyway.

You need to make sure you are applying the correct patch for your CD. There are 3 different patches, but some CDs (eg Sold Out Software) might not be listed there, so just try one. If that one doesn't work, reinstall the game and try another.
