i read this post (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showpost.php?p=673060&postcount=43) and i was curious. this forum brought us together because we were all team17/worms fans, but who still regularly plays the game? for purposes of this thread, let's define "regularly" as at least twice a month.
i for one don't really play worms anymore; in fact, i was never all that good, but i registered here because pinkworm was an irl friend of mine and a big fan of the game.
Not really. I still have W:A and W4 floating around on this machine, and I still enjoy them all the same, but I just hardly ever play them.

The last time I actually played WA was at the end of August. WA & WWP LAN games became a prominent feature on the train up to PAX, and we'd often have two or three games going at once amongst the group.

Nope, mainly because I don't have Virtual PC installed on my laptop, my copy of WA is at home and I've never bought Worms 3D for mac.
I still do.
If you lurk around in #worms you'll get beeped for a game every few days.

I've yet to reinstall WA on my new machine.
I've *watched* some WA games recently, in the form of SomethingAwful's Gravity games.

I do. I have to, because the map I've been working on for the past months requires a lot of testing. ;) I'm also more or less regularly playing with the #worms guys, too. But I suppose that's as far as my activity goes these days.

Last time I played was shortly before the latest patch came out. Just been lazy to download it.:p

I don't even REMEMBER the last time I played a worms game, honestly :p
I stick around because I like the community. I still like worms quite a bit and look forward to the next in the series quite a bit as well as the other games T17 are making right now. I just don't play any of their current games :p
I take part in #worms games when there's time and I'm in the mood. There's also trying out the new updates and having sneak previews of Wyv's Battle Race maps, so yeah, I'd say I play the game somewhat regularly still. And intend to get even more involved again in the near future.
But even when I'm going through an inactive period, I keep in touch with developments around here [and on such central community forums as exist at the time], on IRC and to some extent on WormNet.
I would still play WA if it worked on my laptop.
I'm not sure if you should count that as a yes or not.

Last I played was around when the latest patch came out, so I guess you couldn't call it "regularly". (then again I rarely play anything but TF2)

Yes, I play W:A most days (Oftentimes with a select group of people, but not always. Plus we generally let "randoms" stay anyway). In fact, W:A is one of the only games I seem to play these days, at least with any regularity.
Also occasionally bust out W4:M or WF:US if the mood strikes me.
What are we all doing on a Worms forum if nearly none of us are playing any Worms games?:p
I don't play much Worms these days either, though I've been playing some Worms on xbox 360!

Well, we could finally finish the last iteration of OD tournament that has been started some time ago.
And then start a new round.
More like once every three months for me at the moment. Although, I've jumped briefly into Worms Golf on my cellphone a few times recently.

I actually played a game of WA today. In the computer labs with the laptop connected to a big screen :p
I lost. Badly.
Practice before you play on a big screen ;)
I'm at school now and I'm only thinking about that I want to play WA online when I get home! :p

My WA disc broke inside my drive very recently. I found out last night when I tried to substitute it for a DVD-RW disc. Noooo! Ten years old, it was.

That's unfortunate.

No. Not sure when I last played any worms game, but it was probably when I last briefly loaded up W4:M.
Something may motivate me to play W:A at some point, but I probably won't for a while.

The last thing that made me play W:A was that RubberWorm (http://worms2d.info/Rubberworm) wormkit module and its wacky gravity settings, I recommend it to anyone that can figure it out.
