WWP-crashes every time...no solution?

Every time I start WWP, it says "to run this application, the resolution of the screen should not be less than 800x600".

I've tried almost everything....it's a new Acer laptop, with windows vista, the screen resolution is 1200x800....Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T7300 @ 2GHZ, 2308 RAM. Dunno what graphics exactly...but it's new so shud be ok.....does anyone have any suggestions.....I've tried so much!!

looking around the forum,try one that was released at the same time as wwp.or,at least armaggedon.

It could be that your laptop's screen can't display any resolution below 800 × 600. Since the WWP frontend is locked at 640 × 480, you're pretty much out of luck.

If this is indeed the case, current versions of WA won't work either. There are plans to fix this in the future, but that could take a while.
