Because highly organised ranting is apparently what we do now in OD. And I think this fills an important niche.
This is for statements that you consider... not stupid, but odd. Maybe it's a slip in communication, or a rather odd worldview, or just something straight from midwicket (because I don't want to say "straight out of left field" when I can adapt the saying with cricket terminology). It may even be quite profound in its way, but it just throws you. It might be Eggi or Gingerneck or CJH, or it could just be some average sort of dude like, well, Metal Alex, who gave us this gem (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showpost.php?p=672711&postcount=353):
Once, I felt down, and I drew a crab. Made me feel better. It turns out the only thing I can manage to draw properly is realistic crabs.
No guarantees it'll work on anyone else, though.
Drawing crabs: a potential path to inner peace? Or just something that works for one person? Who knows.
