Hi everyone ive just bought a new copy (CD) of worms Amageddon & tried to installk it about 30 mins ago, I put the cd in the drive & went through all the basic proceedures, i was asked to reboot the pc which i did then i could see the icon on the desktop so i double clicked it & i got this message?:

The Instruction at "0*01e728b0" referance memory at "0*01ec4e80" the memory could not be read..

followed by a "error signature"..?? Mod name direct*2d.dll

Can anyone shed any light on this please

Install the latest beta update. Need a link for that? Look in the stickies (especially the thread "Please Read Before Posting", which is named that for a reason), which you should have done before you posted...

I DID install all the updates sorry i forgot to mention that... is it the updates first then the patch's or the other way round & would it make a differance iwhich way it was done..?

You only need to download and run the Beta update installer. It will automatically update the game correctly for you, installing the patch and GFX directories as necessary.
