Hi,

I have a monitor with a native resolution of 1680x1050. The resolution in the options menu of the game only goes up to 1280x1024. :(

I'm using the latest version of WA and video card drivers, and I read this in some patch notes:

"Resolution modes up to 1920×1440 are now supported (dependant on video driver / hardware capability)."

So why don't any resolutions above 1280x1024 show in drop-down list?

Your video card may not support the specified resolution at the 8-bit color depth, or DirectX does not report the resolution as available. You could try setting the resolution directly by editing the DisplayXSize and DisplayYSize values under the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Team17SoftwareLTD\Worms Armageddon\Options registry key.

Me too and W:A works in this res perfectly.

Nope, the resolution of options menu is fixed at 640x480. This won't be changed until W:A 4.0 will be released.

And that's true, but it refers to in-game resolution.

So why don't any resolutions above 1280x1024 show in drop-down list?
This could be a gfx driver issue. CyberShadow's post visible above could help.

No, he means in the drop-down box...

Oh... I see :) But rest of my post is correct.

Edit:
OddFlame, what gfx card do you have?

Edit2:
Please check if you're running W:A in compatibility mode (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsupport/learnmore/appcompat.mspx). If it is turned on it can limit available resolutions to 1280x1024.

Yep, that was the problem. Just turned it off, and now all the resolutions appear in the list.

Thanks everyone!
