Is there any way at all to play bigger maps with the Trymedia version?

If not then it's pretty much a slap in the face to a lot of paying customers. I've been waiting to play on bigger maps for over a year. Any help would be appreciated. If not I'll probably have to go out and buy the game again so I can get the latest patch.

The Trymedia version is not compatible with the beta updates.
They use some encryption wrapped around their games for their trial system, thus unless they release one of the betas themselves (with the encryption) it won't work.

AFAIK, they have been reluctant to do so.
Maybe they're waiting for a proper patch instead of betas (although they did patch to beta v3.0.5.0 to get Windows XP compatibility).
Maybe they're just a bunch of asses ripping of people with overpriced games.

Then buy a CD version of the game, preferably from the T17 store where you can get multi-packs with 2 or 3 Worms games for the same price as one Trymedia game.
And that includes shipping to almost anywhere in the world.
